What We Did

Stage / Lights / Site Power / Backstage Hospitality Area

Over the last two years Stage and Light has been the main provider of staging and lighting in Zebadees Yard, Hull for VMS Live and Innercity Live. Over the course of the weekend, artists such as The Flaming Lips, UB40, Orbital, Echo and the Bunnymen take to the stage to entertain the sell out crowds.

Stage and Light provided their Milos 12mx10m MR2+ Roof with PA wings, covered cowshed monitor and tech areas, which takes the footprint to just under 20m wide.

A festival style lighting package was installed to make programming easier for the touring LD’s who are on a tight schedule.

Using a simple three straight truss design of Martin Mac Axiom Hybrid spots and Robe Spiider washes the lighting rig was able to be easily morphed to save precious pre-programming time. Martin Atomic 3000’s and 2 and 4 Lite Molefeys were added for effect and crowd blinder moments.

Throughout the run of summer shows Stage and Light would tweak the rig and add floor packages should the touring artist require it.

As well as the Main Stage, Stage and Light supplied and installed the generators as site power for the many concession stands, bars and toilets, along with a 12m x 6m backstage hospitality area.

The site needed to be cleared and back open as a city centre car park by 4pm the following day!
