Lighting
Stage and Light were proud to assist Event Show Support in the creation of the Festival of the Sky, a celebration of arts and culture in the heart of Cleethorpes.
The festival had a diverse program focused on the arts, culture, heritage and voluntary groups of the local costal community. The event, supported by the Arts Council England and the Costal Communities fund, saw the seafront, promenade and town brought to life through bespoke installations, theatrical performances and music, along with activities and workshops.
Stage and Light’s involvement focused primarily on the installation, Light Up, supported by Immingham Sea Cadets. Using a variety of moving spots, washes and IP rated LED fixtures, the boating lake was transformed to create a perfect backdrop for the live, on water, performance. The lighting complimented the glow from the nearby immersive Fire Garden installation. All crew were provided by Event Show Support and the lighting design was taken care of by Event Show Support's Jacque Taylor-Vine .
