WHAT WE DID

Lighting / Production Liaison / Transport

Stage and Light were approached by Steve Harvey from Clearwing Productions in the USA to supply a turnkey package for an eight night residency at the famous Hammersmith Apollo in London. Clearwing has worked closely with Stage and Light in the US for a number of years on other projects and we were happy to return the favour, this time, in the UK.

The design, created by Nashville based Michael Brown, was comprised of a 12” black truss square overhead measuring 42’ x 24’, on which 22 x GLP X4s’ were outrigged to enable the ‘candle wax’ set pieces to be hung. The square surrounded two 35’ pre-rig trusses with 12 x Mac Viper Profiles and 10 x Mac Auras.

The floor package consisted of eight 6’ truss totems on wheeled steel base plates on which a Mac Viper Performance sat on top of. Philips Nitro Strobes clamped to the base of each tower.

A further 16 x Mac Viper Profiles circled the stage along with 12 x Mac Auras.

240v-110v transformers were also supplied to accommodate backline power requirements from the US.

The show was loaded in and out twice during the two week period, stored and transported by trucking company Fly By Nite.
